07.02.2026 08:09 β π 3 π 0 π¬ 2 π 0i hope so too, thank you!! :3
06.02.2026 13:57 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0all i'll say is, i've been gathering the strength, motivation and free-time for the past several YEARS to finally begin working on this and, despite 2026 being a continously terrible year so far, i hope that it won't prevent me from releasing my biggest passion project to date :3
06.02.2026 09:32 β π 3 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0while i have hinted or talked about it in smaller circles, i don't want to announce anything yet, particularly because i don't want to make promises that i'm not yet sure i can fulfill
i just wanted to let y'all know about my absence and that i'll be a bit harder to reach, fttb
yeah i'm going through another "Disappearance Episode" but it's for a good reason, trust me!!
i'm locked-in on what is my biggest and most ambitious programming project to date :3
i even bought a laptop for the first time in my life just so i could work on it every chance i get
it gets worse !! :3
SSD:
- 165β¬ in august
- 305β¬ in december
- 325β¬ today
RAM:
- 170β¬ in august
- 685β¬ in december
- 970β¬ today
the entire PC:
- was 1315β¬ in august
- would've been 1970β¬ in december (655β¬ increase)
- would've been 2270β¬ today (another 305β¬ increase)
just found the new fastest way to crash need for speed: carbon :3
pressing esc + enter on free roam
(video is recorded in NFSCO, but it happens in vanilla as well)
it took 9.5 years and 2 transfer tools (ie. across 3 different strange scatterguns) but it's finally done :3
15.01.2026 07:54 β π 3 π 1 π¬ 0 π 0welcome to tf2 in 2026 :3
14.01.2026 07:11 β π 5 π 0 π¬ 0 π 011 days into this shitty year and i already want it to fucking end π₯π₯π₯
11.01.2026 17:31 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0snow 2 electric boogaloo :3
10.01.2026 13:22 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0hale's own scattergun - home stretch
about 500 frags left to go :3
yesssss :3
05.01.2026 09:52 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0i swear it hasn't snowed this much in at least 5 years lol
05.01.2026 09:33 β π 3 π 0 π¬ 1 π 1there should be a case study about how sisypheanly difficult it is to delete an account compared to making one
no wonder there are so many fake accounts everywhere, we quite literally deserve nothing better :3
"hmmm, i haven't played 8 ball pool in a long time, i wonder what i've been missing out on..."
and it's just... This :3

using libreoffice impress for the first time and i have absolutely never in my near 20 years of using windows seen any program use separators in their open/save file dialogs before :3
23.12.2025 11:19 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0this is the first pc i've ever used that doesn't have any additional (storage or optical) drives
to this day it's still unusual plugging in a USB drive and having windows automatically mount it to D:\
it feels almost illegal lmao
that sucks... fuck AI indeed
20.12.2025 21:04 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0i'm SO glad i decided to build my PC in august
my SSD went from 165β¬ to 305β¬, almost a 100% increase βοΈ
my RAM went from 170β¬ to 685β¬, a whopping 300% increase βΌοΈ
my 1315β¬ PC would've costed an additional 655β¬ more, which is a 50% increase, & also 140% of the minimum wage
despite Aformentioned Complicationsβ’ in trying to download the mod on release day, i finally had the time to try out the new environment (for an hour or so) on the evo server after the A08 event ended several people have raised concerns that the car's gravity is too low, akin to the floatiness of TM2 cars, and honestly i disagree - obviously idk what the exact numbers are, but it feels just as heavy (if not slightly heavier) than coast car, i personally think it suits the vehicle quite well in that regard similarly, several people have raised concerns about the car being too small ie. the blocks being too wide, which i also have to disagree on - given how fast-paced the environment is, anything narrower than the current blocksize would honestly be a pain to drive in terms of the general gameplay: as other people have mentioned, it's a mix of bay's acceleration/"stering" combined with island's speed/vibe, while also (most importantly, imo) being very keyboard friendly to drive, about as much as bay, if not slightly more - i assume pad players will still prevail in the end, due to the nature of united cars sliding at much lower speeds than stadium, but that's exactly the kind of thing that i think makes united cars much more fun than the TMNF tank which brings me to my next point, sliding: i haven't quite figured out the nitty-gritty as to when sliding is more preferrable than full-grip (and for how long), but that's precisely what gives it a high skill ceiling, and it's honestly by far the most fun aspect of the car - it *almost* gives off canyon vibes, but they're different enough that i wouldn't quite group them together the car & blocks look great and the maps are quite well designed so far - a fantastic presentation overall, it feels like an official nadeo DLC for TMUF and it truly broke my expectations thanks for coming to my bulb talk/very epic very late highlands review ok goodnight (obligatory bulbmobile skin to match the rest of my TMUF and TM2 cars)
i made a not-so-quick not-so-little review of it on discord, but to summarize, it's been a blast so far and feels like an official Nadeo product
unlike twitter, where the alt text limit is a mere 1000 characters, i can actually fit the whole review just under bsky's 2000 character alt-text limit π
thanks to the recently released Highlands mod for TrackMania United Forever, we now have 8 TMUF environments (and 11 total across all TrackMania games) - what a wild timeline we live in...
and, of course, i had to make a bulbmobile skin for it, to match my other TMUF/TM2 cars :3
steam thingy!!
i played like 3 games this year lol
i don't know whether any of these are normal human behaviors or if it's just me in specific but it's been bothering me enough to rant about it online :3
other people make it seem like developing healthy habits and keeping them is easy so maybe it really is just a skill issue idk
learning things the "right" way is extremely difficult when frequent bad moods kick in, so even topics that i'm deeply interested in take MUCH more time to learn, often not fast enough to keep up with my studies, and that problem only gets worse for topics i'm not interested in
16.12.2025 11:25 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0i wasn't particularly good at rote learning but it was "effective enough" to get me through high school, until i eventually ran into a brick wall when i enrolled into college because, logically, such a learning approach would never work given the nature and complexity of academia
16.12.2025 11:25 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0i sort-of wonder if my learning approach is related to this
throughout my life, in or out of school, unless i was, under very rare circumstances, really interested in the topic, i basically always had to resort to cramming instead of learning the topic the right way
not just that, but when i'm in a bad mood, even basic tasks that i enjoy like games, programming or socializing also become similarly impossible
aside from general "busy-ness", this also plays a major role as to why i sometimes don't respond to people in days >_<
honest to god i'm nothing without my reminders, alarms, and random sticky notes all across my living spaces, otherwise recurring tasks become near impossible to follow, and that's assuming i'm in a good-enough mood to actually follow through with my reminders, alarms and stickies
16.12.2025 11:25 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0throughout my life i've only managed to develop what feels like 10% of the habits i wanted to develop and i honest to god don't know why :3
i also wish i knew why said "not-so-habits" are DRASTICALLY easier to follow through when euphoric, and near impossible when in a bad mood
