Apple iOS mail does not punycode domain names. Note the lookalike character in "amazon".com. Why is punycoding standard in browsers but not email clients? Can we make it so?

Interesting! I wonder if there is any rationale at all or if this was a simple oversight. As a downside, I can see all actual IDN domain users getting frustrated by the e-mail recievers spooking out whenever they the sender's e-mail address in PunyCode.
