It's a fact that trauma survivors can get targeted for ongoing abuse or revictimization-- but we misunderstand what that means. It's not because we exude "weakness" or "naiveté."

Often it's the exact opposite: they can detect our strength & depth-- and they hate it.

I'm not one of those people who thinks GenAI/LLMs are fraught in every situation. But you can be assured from me:

I will always support human art, storywriting, and music (and ownership thereof) over AI slop.

I will be very clear about it if I use GenAI in my work so you can make informed choices.

My only annoyance was at the increasing difficulty of locating reputable sources of AC wiring information and particulars of how to wire mechanical vs digital doorbells, etc. on our ever-degrading internet of shit.

Yesterday I learned and utilized the arcane magic of doorbell circuitry.

Mechanical chimes are cooler, but I still think it's genius that somebody thought of using half-wave low voltage AC to power a digital device which activates a chime when the other half of the wave is restored.

I'm not familiar enough with any other Semitic languages to comment on whether this "feature" applies elsewhere, but I wonder if it's not more of a Ben Yehudaism than a feature of the language as potentially spoken in antiquity.
