Charles 'Charlie' Tombras II, who led Tombras for 50 years, dies at 83 Charlie joined his father's ad agency in the 1980s, making it an ad agency powerhouse in the region. His son Dooley continues his legacy.

We're saddened to learn of the passing of Charlie Tombras, author of the forthcoming UT Press book, From Out of the Smokies. Our thoughts are with the Tombras family and all impacted by this loss.
