Yeah, it’s really just Ace Combat but with a different license and propeller planes.
I think it doesn’t play as good as the previous games, even with the Pro Controller, but since you fly older planes here it kinda fits. But it’s pretty cool that there were animated cutscenes by Production I.G again

I agree with that. Elfen Lied was a baby's first for me, where I saw these themes in fiction for the first time, at least in this graphic depiction, and it definitely shaped my taste. But I also realized pretty quickly that there are much better works out there, and Gantz is a good example of that.

But I think he’s either a mangaka who never managed to fully use his potential, or someone who already reached his peak right at the beginning.

It’s just generally weird and every time I hear something about him it gets a bit sadder. Elfen Lied is a anime/manga that is very important to me, even though I see massive problems with it. And with Brynhildr I also think it has some good moments, even if in the end it really is just Elfen Lied 2.
