whilst the JCPORTALS name has been around longer than just this year, this is the first year where it's beginning to vaguely resemble what i've envisioned it to be. this year i released a game AND an album that i am very proud of. and let me tell you, WE GOT A LONG WAY TO GO AND IT IS ONLY UP FROM HERE!! thank you all for your support, it does not go unappreciated.

I'm working on a platformer game staring a little penguin named Marbles.
The movement is heavily inspired by the Penguin Suit in Mario, and I thought it would be cool to base a game on that moveset.
The vid is just running through the test levels showing what I have so far and the general movement.

I think the big change here is that now it's going to be more adventure-like, instead of collecting 3-somethings to unlock the exit door.
And some smaller things, like power-ups, secrets, etc. Maybe also achievements.

I didn't showed anything for month-two, cuz I had creative block. Didn't know what to add, felt like gameplay is boring, etc.
