Walking early in the day is such a blessing.
Starting to hang the Christmas quilts—this whimsical penguin trio is made by my dear friend Jane.

Beautiful work!
I can never understand why children's books get left out of "great book" lists. The books we call "children's books" are really books written for an audience that includes children, but excludes no-one. They are books for EVERYONE - and if you exclude them, you miss the most important books of all!
People underestimate how much of making art involves having a little sit and doing a little think
Help me please.
I have been looking for a gaming account to follow on here for ages.
It posts retro screenshot of games, with the game quotes in them.
I can't find it and it's bugging me.
Mainly platformer, 8-bit, indie, 90s from what I remember.
Please help me.
Boosting to the #birds feed 😍
None of us would have ever attempted that quilt—thinking we couldn’t do it—but we did it!!! Try it—very fun.
Through our local quilt shop—the designer is Sherri from Border Creek Station patterns. Each month includes a recipe (so delicious!) www.bordercreekstation.com/shop/Pattern...
You’re not violating a reading rule if you opt not to finish a book that's not resonating with you. Life is finite and we thus have a finite number of books to read. Reading shouldn’t be a chore. You needn’t feel guilty for ensuring that your time reading is spent reading things that you love.
Surround yourself with the kind of people who support their local library, bakery, bookstore, and café.
Storms don't last forever, but they sure are beautiful while they're here. 🌦

A few, small (bookish) acts of rebellion & fuckery
*prioritize books by marginalized authors (pre-order their books, it sends a message that this is what we want)
*shop indie bookstores
*celebrate the achievements of marginalized creators
*read banned books
*support library programming and services
She is gorgeous! Dolly’s mom is a red Merle Aussie and her dad is a great big red standard poodle. Genetics are amazing!
Thank you! 😊
This beautiful quilt is one I made with my quilting besties—it was a mystery quilt and each month we received instructions and a package of fabric. We got together once a month to stitch/laugh & support one another & this is the gorgeous result! Smaller wall quilt was made of leftovers. #quilting
If you want to do something ridiculous, make a tiny pineapple quilt! Spencer the chihuahua mix is not impressed—
Made this quilt for my special niece who was unicorn obsessed! We were out for a hike and when we returned home she saw this hanging on our clothesline. She ran to it and asked who’s it was—once she knew it was hers she wouldn’t let go.
Oh thank you so much!!! I’m just getting started on BlueSky—that inspires me to post more quilting posts—Yes please—hope I don’t disappoint with few posts!
One of my favourite projects from several years ago. Pattern by Edyta Sitar, Laundry Basket Quilts.
Looking forward to a work hiatus in Jan/Feb to quilt again. #quiltersofBlueSky

Have fun!!!!
Love my library! Audio/print/sense of community—all without taking out my wallet. Libraries are precious resources that must be protected.
Remind you of a fun art night? The splatter was real!!

What a beautiful doodle!
Did you know BlueSky only has 20 employees?
We would like to say a huge THANK YOU to those 20 warriors (who are working 24/7 to keep up with the incredible growth) for giving us a space to share.
We escaped hell to be here.
Thank you, @bsky.app & Jay Graber CEO (not a billionaire)
