The right way to represent floating point numbers in JSON, if you care about precision, portability, or reality, is a 32 or 64 element boolean array that correspond to an IEEE 754 bit value.

I would also accept a binary string, _maybe_ a decimal string, but certainly not a JSON number.

Chemotherapy is starting on Monday.

We're not sure there's anything else we can say at this point - we're waiting to find out if chemo makes a difference before we know how long we're looking at.

For those who don't find out via other means:
My wife Joan has recently been diagnosed with advanced breast cancer.
She's been having lots of tests, the most recent being a PET CT scan, which confirmed that the cancer has spread and she has Stage 4, so we're not looking at a cure.

List 3 things you can talk about for 3 hours with no prep.

1. Text markup languages
2. Data transfer, from magnetic tapes through file formats through Apache Kafka...
3. Programming languages, 1960s through 1990s

(I have to stop at three? so cruel!)
