Looked to be Cook County Sheriff to me. Might be ticketing on LSD?
06.10.2025 00:14 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0Hard to tell for sure what’s going on here. It does seem more likely than not that the civilian rammed ICE (presuming the SUV is the civ and pickup is ICE, which *i think* is right?). ICE’s story is demonstrably not even close to correct though.

Is there really no footage available of the supposed ramming of ICE vehicles and subsequent shooting? The ICE version of events is beyond suspect, and I can’t believe that—whatever happened—we don’t have cell phone video of it.
05.10.2025 16:43 — 👍 3 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0I’m horrified by Trump’s order to send 300 National Guard troops to Chicago. We’re only nine months into a four year term and already the president is trying to invade an American city. If you’re in the Guard, you can and should refuse these orders.

Short answer: no.
I’ll teach it for half that
05.10.2025 03:11 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0I make my living reading stupid things people have said, fr thousands of years ago until the present. I’ve read people who say the earth is hollow, that geese fly to the moon in winter, that meteors are formed spontaneously in the atmosphere from dust. This made me say, out loud, “man that’s stupid”

28.09.2025 01:26 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0Claim: Kellogg's Corn Flakes were originally created in an effort to discourage American consumers from masturbating. Rating: Mostly False What's True: The creation of corn flakes was part of J.H. Kellogg's broader advocacy for a plain, bland diet. Without referring to corn flakes in particular, Kellogg elsewhere recommended a plain, bland diet as one of several methods to discourage masturbation. What's False: According to the available evidence, corn flakes were primarily created as an easy-to-digest, pre-prepared and healthy breakfast food, in particular for patients at the Kellogg sanitarium in Michigan. The product was never advertised as an "anti-masturbatory morning meal."
claim: corn flakes were invented because kellogg was a freak obsessed with masturbation and thought a bland diet would discourage masturbation
