You don’t even have to be outraged or angry or anything. A stony, pragmatic, dispassionate evaluation of the facts leads inevitably to the conclusion that, if the American Experiment is to endure, every last fascist atom needs to be pulled out from root to tip.

They’re turning Stancil into a revolutionary. I think Yarvin and Fuentes are right to be afraid. I hope they spread the word.

Alright, fine. In that case, I think AI is going to give embodiment a big comeback, too. Whatever it takes to rankle somebody.

Probably for the Stevenson. I’m not sure, but while it was still light I caught a glimpse and it looked like sheriff colors. But read the room indeed.

I think it’s ticketing shoulder riders on LSD. Looked like sheriff to me.

Hard to tell for sure what’s going on here. It does seem more likely than not that the civilian rammed ICE (presuming the SUV is the civ and pickup is ICE, which *i think* is right?). ICE’s story is demonstrably not even close to correct though.

ICE ramming a civilian car, then shooting them. They claimed 10 cars surround the agents. Where are they?

Maybe this is it?

Is there really no footage available of the supposed ramming of ICE vehicles and subsequent shooting? The ICE version of events is beyond suspect, and I can’t believe that—whatever happened—we don’t have cell phone video of it.

I’m horrified by Trump’s order to send 300 National Guard troops to Chicago. We’re only nine months into a four year term and already the president is trying to invade an American city. If you’re in the Guard, you can and should refuse these orders.

Long answer: gov can ask the staties internal affairs to investigate misconduct, which they do alongside the state inspector general’s office. Before discharge, the Merit Board must hold public hearings, where the officer has access to evidence and can testify

Short answer: no.

I make my living reading stupid things people have said, fr thousands of years ago until the present. I’ve read people who say the earth is hollow, that geese fly to the moon in winter, that meteors are formed spontaneously in the atmosphere from dust. This made me say, out loud, “man that’s stupid”

Sure seems like Ed Martin will be an especially soft target for prosecution in the future, huh? Acts like it’s never even occurred to him that his 80 year old, unpopular, term-limited sugar daddy might not always be around for him.

Claim:
Kellogg's Corn Flakes were originally created in an effort to discourage American consumers from masturbating.

Rating: Mostly False

What's True:
The creation of corn flakes was part of J.H. Kellogg's broader advocacy for a plain, bland diet. Without referring to corn flakes in particular, Kellogg elsewhere recommended a plain, bland diet as one of several methods to discourage masturbation.

What's False:

According to the available evidence, corn flakes were primarily created as an easy-to-digest, pre-prepared and healthy breakfast food, in particular for patients at the Kellogg sanitarium in Michigan. The product was never advertised as an "anti-masturbatory morning meal."
