An illustration of Mia Goth as Rlizabeth Harlander in Guillermo del Toro’s Frankenstein, but modified to look like a more traditional undead Bride of Frankenstein. Her wedding dress is bloodied like the end of the movie, and her long red hair has shocks of white at the temples. Her eyes are milky, and her skin has the same porcelain creaminess that Jacob Elordi’s monster has in the movie. The background is bloodied red and a lightning bolt sets an ethereal glow around her figure.

Happy Anniversary to #TheBrideOfFrankenstein! I wanted to do something special for her, and the opportunity to combine it with some #FrankensteinGDT fan art was irresistible. So here is #MiaGoth as #ElizabethHarlander, as well a spooky take. @realgdt.bsky.social

Frankenstein alt text: Movie poster for Guillermo del Toro’s β€˜Frankenstein’. In the centre is Victor Frankenstein in semi-darkness, viewed from behind. He’s in his wreck of a laboratory, with a beautiful circular window with elaborate tracery in the background. The phrase β€˜Only monsters play god’ is along the bottom, along with the note that the film is β€˜playing in select theaters and on Netflix’.

The Frozen Horse’s Tale~ concept designs for @realgdt.bsky.social amazing FRANKENSTEIN! In 2022 I started work with Guillermo on keyframes and concepts before production started, including the battlefield frozen horse. I had so much fun writing this piece on culture as a Frankenstein creature itself.

Thank you to @erinbartram.bsky.social for encouraging a more creative approach and structure for this film analysis of many iterations of Frankenstein culminating in @realgdt.bsky.social's brilliant 2025 creation.

'The Creature' from @realgdt.bsky.social 's 'Frankenstein'

This was a wonderful challenge in both colours and lighting! I'm overall pretty happy with how it turned out. The frame is being made right now so I'll upload a better quality photo of that and the painting once it's complete

Along with the coffins I worked on the design for the family grave and its sculpted details, the shape of the gravestone would also hint to Victors water tower lab in silhouette with the β€œsphinx” feet motif too.

It was lovely to see homage to the Hunterian Museum’s Evelyn Tables in @realgdt.bsky.social Frankenstein. These four tables were made in Padua, taking arteries, veins and nerves dissected in Padua’s famous anatomical theatre, pasting them to boards and varnishing them to protect and preserve

A stylized promotional collage for Guillermo del Toro’s Netflix film Frankenstein, using high-contrast black-and-white imagery over bold red backgrounds. The composition features dramatic scenes and characters: two silhouetted figures stand before a large circular window; the gaunt, long-haired Creature gazes forward; Lady Elizabeth Harlander appears in Victorian dress holding a skull; and Dr. Victor Frankenstein works over a stitched, mechanical body. Intricate illustrated elementsβ€”including a coiled serpent and etched facesβ€”frame the images, creating a dark, gothic, surreal atmosphere.
