Experiencing two little girls getting excited about something they saw in a physical newspaper is really special. I told them that one day maybe they can write about things they love in the newspaper. 💗📰

They started telling me about how much they loved the characters and the music and asked me about the story. I gave the paper to their mom and when I got off the train they were excitedly reading the paper together. Journalism matters. Even if it’s not something you think is important.

It’s been a tough week at work and I was riding metro home after a goodbye and reading Wednesday’s paper. Two little girls were singing and just being cute on the train. I turned to the opinion page and there was a story about K Pop Demon Hunters. The little girls saw it and got so excited.
