Yeah not the end of the world for me if Stones runs down his contract as I think his injury record has depleted his transfer value, I'm fine keeping guys like him and Bernardo around for experience and letting them leave for free next summer

There were a lot of confusing decisions. Khusanov and Nico getting stuck on the bench has been frustrating. I think Pep has truly had the worst season of his entire top level career this year in terms of his actual performance/decision-making

I think Pep kinda always plays his backup GK in domestic cups so I'm not upset about that, but I hate that he has brought Akanji back in to this system for no reason when it was working well with O'Reilly, Gvardiol, Dias, and Nunes

Maybe City losing the FA Cup means they'll go even harder in the transfer market this summer. They played pretty well tbh, just didn't finish the chances. Nowhere near as upset losing to this Palace team as I was after losing to a dog shit United last year.

Their midfield is so athletic, aggressive, and talented, and ours by comparison is very old, slow, and lethargic. I could see us being overwhelmed and losing a ton of duels right from the start.

Seeing Bernardo and Kev back in the starting XI after they both played the whole match 3 days ago (and it wasn't a good performance from either of them) is a bit concerning. Nico coming out for Kovacic is as confusing as Doku still not getting a start. Not feeling great about this.
