I honestly don’t really have expectations for tomorrow’s partner direct. I don’t think anything will live up to the insane hype that we had from August 2024’s Partner Showcase (I know that’s not exactly recent but still). I genuinely don’t really have expectations of a partner showcase

I don’t think I have to say much that I haven’t said before, still to this day I think among the greatest RPGs of all time, in my Top 20 favorite video games easily. A game that has stood the test of time for over 30 years and is still absolutely worth playing!

Game #4: Chrono Trigger (Steam)

Ok not a new game for me by any means, but I have been playing though Chrono Trigger again on steam deck in my downtime. Never played it on steam before… it’s an alright port (though I’d probably stick to DS or SNES, but still a solid port).

Really wonderful characters, a story that wasn't afraid to get very dour, yet shows even that even in the darkest of times, there's always that beacon of hope and light. Amazing soundtrack too. My only gripe was some characters felt a little underdeveloped, but otherwise, masterpiece.

Game #3: Final Fantasy VI

Hoo boy, what a behemoth this one was! I was always interested in playing this game even as a kid. And now, I've finally experienced it thanks to the Pixel Remaster. I can see why this stands the test of time as an all time classic.
