This is true, but I think what divides the medium from the performer/audience is mixed up here. Making and playing Pong had context, but does the game itself do a story? I would argue the language that games use to tell a story isn’t used in Pong.

I used to think this, but an oddly compelling argument I heard once is that some dances have stories and some dances don’t.

Is this in the idea that all games have stories? Or just that for games that do have stories, all the elements contribute?

They didn’t even try to hide the plot twist that they’re all ghosts smh 🙄
