Talk about the difference your congregation made in your community this year. Tell them why you are excited to be part of the ministry (or ministries) you are involved in. Be authentic. Make it personal. Just be you. You got this.

Other than being tricky to transplant, I see no reason that Common Milkweed wouldn't thrive for you once established. It can take years to establish though. Patience!

Swamp is a robust grower, but a short lived plant, especially if you have milkweed weevils. If you do get weevils, keep the soil around the plant very swamp-like.

Butterfly Weed has good years and bad. It does not like it's feet wet and the young ones can be badly damaged by aphids unless they are protected until they are old enough to shrug them off. Also it does not like a lot of mulch around it's roots.

I found Spider and Whorled to be difficult to keep alive.

Wait, I haven't noticed a difference on my phone app. Maybe I'm missing something. Where do I make this choice?

Thomas Jefferson's favorite tree. I love my fringe trees. I was lucky enough to get a male and a female many years ago. Sadly, they are now infested with emerald ash borers.

Ugh. As much as I love bugs, I don't appreciate bugnadoes.

Can't wait for ours to flower so we can see what they are. We planted 3. Crossing our fingers to have both male and female.

Ours are young, so still not very big. I can't wait until it reaches full size. Slow grower, but worth the wait. t's so beautiful!
