My opinion still (mostly) stands but I was feeling desperate after rereading volume 10 so *very rare* post canon vashwood from me. (My headcanon is that Vash loves pen and paper and puzzle games like crosswords, sudoku, battleships)

I did enjoy episode 5 (?) with Wolfwood and Midvalley because it was different enough and it had a lot of tension and I was genuinely on the edge of my seat. I didn’t have this now. i think that’s the root of my disappointment

They went a different reaction in tristamp and now they are very closely following TriMax but while th scenes are very cathartic in the manga without the buildup and EMOTIONAL CONNECTION to these characters they are a let down

I actually can’t really put into words why…. I just generally didn’t enjoy this episode, which sucks because I was gen excited for it. It was just…. Boring? to watch what I already read not too long ago but without the the proper build up?

He stinks in all adaptations!!!!!

I’ve come to the conclusion that I only really like vashwood if it’s yearning, heavy angst, doomed, they never get together. And the reason for it that I’m evil and hate fun. (If I’m feeling extra evil it’s one sided)
