mara whitefish is almost unreasonably human. but then again, humans themselves are unreasonable. it's honestly hard to forget she's not real sometimes because of how much painstaking precision is put into her writing. i will be thinking about her for a long, long time
over the past few days i have blazed through perfect tides: station to station. it has somehow rocketed past the original game for me, which i didn't even think was possible considering how much i loved the first one. i have so many thoughts on Everything it's hard to put it all into words
i played perfect tides recently and it's quickly become one of my favorite games ever. i don't have the words to express just how much it means to me and how much i care for it. if you haven't already, i highly recommend it. really looking forward to playing through the sequel
RIP Ayatollah Khamenei you would have loved Bluesky
personally the location has never made a big difference to me, a lot of music i listen to still takes me straight back to other places even though i haven't been to those places in years. this actually happens a lot with music on the radio if it plays something that was popular when i was a kid
oh okay i guess we're all going to hell forever
limbus company is the best gacha game because the players have to read classical literature if they want more scrunkly content
i would say it's bluesky compression but i don't even think the compression is that bad on here. cursed by vince gilligan to have low quality art forever
redraw based on art by @fenzofrfr.bsky.social and @roseshrimp.bsky.social. i love losers round 1 match 2 of mashup week: megamix. maybe more than i should
on the 10th of july 2023, i'm facing "the music" #mashupweek
redraw based on art by @fenzofrfr.bsky.social. i hope it doesn't come off poorly. i mostly redraw art i like because i'm bad at coming up with my own ideas and it helps to study how the art was made/why it works. i'm just worried about it looking like i'm 'stealing' rather than it being a tribute...
the cowboy thinks that he knows everything, but he doesn't know me #mashupweek
They're calling me the Don Quixote of backshots.
figured i should upload this here for posterity. my favorite track from my favorite match... there's been so much since then but i still don't think anything has beaten lr1m2 for me #mashupweek
i am probably the last person on earth to play this game but if you haven't played mario 64 yet either then, well, go do that! it's a very lovely game that has been held in high regard for so long for good reason. it is an absolute delight to be immersed in its world and i'm glad i finally played it
the general feel of the game visually definitely contributes to its timelessness but it goes beyond that i think. everything from the aesthetics to the gameplay to the music is just so untethered to any time or place and i think it works out really beautifully
it's like... so many little playgrounds crammed with as much detail as possible. like a child's imagination came to life. it's very pretty in a way i can't quite describe. a lot of videogames feel like they were made in a very specific time/place but mario 64 is a game that feels so timeless
i've always heard of it as this legendary game that revolutionized platformers and wondered about it for so long and now i see exactly why people talk about it like that! though i think i do prefer its aesthetics over its gameplay (mostly due to the camera), i have a lot of thoughts on those
i should start posting here more... i don't do it enough tbh.
anyways, i've finally started playing super mario 64 (at the ripe old age of 18. it took me a while to get around to it...) and wow that game is good!!
compiling a List of Guys.
- anakin skywalker
- sinclair limbus company
- heathcliff limbus company
- teddy mother 1
- fifteen katana zero
i think about them all a lot. weird venn diagram of them tbh. thoughts and recommendations to add would be appreciated
to be fair i was maybe like 5 levels above where i should have been due to repeatedly throwing myself against enemies and dying at the start of the game which gave me a ton of exp. still though i never got the complaints about needing to grind or whatever unless that's later. game's not that hard!
been playing mother 1 recently. heard from my friends who love the game (and think it's not as hard as everyone says it is) that duncan factory is horrible even for them and i would die at least 7 times. i did not die a single time. did anyone else not struggle with it or am i weirdly good at games
not to say that it's completely bad or irredeemable because i think it absolutely has the potential to work considering the themes of the games but the execution is so wonky and fast it ended up souring the game as a whole for me for a little bit... i need to stop typing about this. oops
i got every steam achievement for hades 2... i have So Many thoughts on this game but frankly i cannot fit them into a single post (or even thread) on social media. i really wish i could like it just a bit more because it is so fun gameplay-wise but the story is. Man i wish the ending was better
i love my friends
happy september. remembered this existed just in time
i've been playing a lot of shooty shooty robot invasion recently. this game is awesome. go play it now!!
everybody's into horses these days
anyways. i did this in ms paint but i don't like saying that since people often include the ui when they make art in it and it annoys me. like they feel superior for making something impressive in a 'bad' art program? i'm not gonna say i made anything in paint again since real mspaintheads will know
i haven't even played the game (trying to finish lobcorp first) but fuuuck i cannot stop thinking about him. jesus christ
