The body is dark red, with lighter paws. It has wild, spiky fur and ambiguous scars/stripes on its back leading up the spine. There are also 4 stab scars on the shoulder (likely a consequence of spiked ball head). behind the back paws, small red droplets trail behind. The picture has a red border, where small simple maces circle. Awww! Badass.

The cloak is decorated with flat, almost pictographic designs - a black heart in the middle with a pink star in it and a greenish flame above it, five red and black hearts below, and stylized depictions of top surgery scars. His right arm is holding a green sword, and he is stoically facing the viewer. He is standing in an uncanny room. Behind him are dark walls and curtains, and a window revealing jarring red outside. By the window is sculpture, taken from my own heavily edited photo. The sculpture is Tri Gracije (1969) by Ferenc Kiraly, which stands in my hometown. The sculpture depicts three women holding a large bowl above their heads. I drew a stylized red fire in the bowl. The floor is wooden, and taken from a photo of the floor in my dad's atelier. The wall left of Lubi is pink, and painted with a rough approach. On the wall is an ornate vintage mirror, also a modified photo (from the MET museum's massive public domain catalogue). There is a keyhole on the mirror frame. In the mirror is another version of Lubi. His cloak is black and red and covered in large flat pink hearts. He's wearing a silver helmet that covers more of his face, and his extended arm, also holding the same sword, shows an ornate golden sleeve. His arm is an edited photo of my arm, and the sword they are holding is another edited photo from MET's catalogue. Unlike the 'real' Lubi, the mirror Lubi is smiling a vampiric grin. The sword is stabbed into a big pile of sand (textured with my own photos) in the middle of the room that Lubi is standing on. On the right side of the image there is a wooden table, upon which is a vintage green key (another one from the MET website).

I wanted to include collage in the July experiment, and I think it turned out really well, across the board I'm really happy with this one. I loved adding more painted touches to my recent works too, it helps me achieve my beloved roughness in new ways!
