It's important to recognize that live service games will always add an element to make players stay sadlfkjsdkf but if you arent having fun anymore, it's best to consider quitting as soon as you can >< it's easy to be wrapped in the routine fomo but like any game, the having fun part is important

I've had a lot of issues with the game so I managed to stop pretty early on >< but I get that the banners can be tempting
I did return to try again sometime ago but I didn't like the banners so I just quit again xD

Glad to help! ^^ I also didn't consider this cause I'm more of a "post only done rendered works" kinda gal. But last December, I embraced sketches and watercolor sketches more cause I found a really good brush. I also wanted to reduce all the work, while posting something looking complete~ Have fun!

I'm glad I'm not the only one too. Whenever I draw hands, I really feel like I'm following the structure right (with my hand) but when I compare to anime hands or other references, it looks so diff and my brain finds it hard to process lol

OEMGEEE YEAH I often use my hands as ref too and I think I did well, then I see other references and am like WAIT AM I DOING SOMETHING WRONG? I do have long slender fingers but it's not as long as the tol people obv 😩

on the reference?? That's weird... until I asked my boyfriend (taller than me) and the reference made sense... Obviously, I'm just used to my own body and proportions compared to anything else xD but it's still helpful to use yourself lol just gotta double check with other references
