It's the culmination of what I've been working towards, multiple storylines I can float between as writer/artist.
It was previously printed as 3 minicomics, and these won the Bedelys award at MCAF for best indy English Comic, and 4.3 won best scifi from the minicomics awards!

I haven’t told this story in a while but as we were lined up for commencement at art school some random Black family was clapping and cheering for me and I was so confused then during the ceremony I realized there were only like five Black kids graduating and they were cheering for all of us.

I just read somewhere that it was originally going to be six samurai and he was going to play a more serious role, but then they realized that only having serious samurai would make a boring movie, so Kurosawa made him the seventh samurai and told him to go wild!!

Also, such a different role than I was expecting for Toshiro Mifune!! At first I was like, ummm, what’s happening here, why is he acting like that? And then at the end I was like, I love him so much , I would die for him 😭
