Ddoe roedden ni yn y Senedd ar gyfer digwyddiad Y Farchnad.

Fe wnaethon ni sgwrsio ag Aelodau'r Senedd o Blaid Cymru, y Ceidwadwyr Cymreig a Llafur Cymru am ein hymgyrchoedd, Bil yr Amgylchedd a'n galwadau ar gyfer etholiad Senedd 2026.

Fe wnaethon ni fwynhau cysylltu â sefydliadau eraill hefyd.

Yesterday we were in the Senedd for a marketplace event.

We chatted to Senedd Members from Plaid Cymru, Welsh Conservatives and Welsh Labour about our campaigns, the Environment Bill and asks for the 2026 Senedd election.

And we enjoyed touching base with other organisations too!

Warning over health risks posed by wood-burning stoves amid calls for tighter rules A fireplace burning just 10 pounds of wood in an hour can release up to 4,300 times more cancer-causing particles than 30 cigarettes.

For the sake of our health and the environment, we must drastically reduce the amount of tiny particles circulating in our air— from burning wood and other sources.

Tonight is #CleanAirNight where we raise awareness about dangers of domestic burning. A fireplace burning 10lb of wood for an hour can emit 4300 times more cancer causing particulates than 30 cigarettes. We need to discourage people from domestic burning to protect our health

Campaigners claim Ffos y Fran mine firm can afford £91m site restoration Claims have been made that the mining company behind the Ffos y Fran opencast coal mine does have the money required to carry out a restoration estimated to cost more than £90 million.

Great detective work @coalactionuk.bsky.social 👏
Too long polluters have been getting away with it. It's time to make polluters pay.

Rhaid cael gwared ar domenni peryglus Ffos y Fran Yn dilyn adroddiad gan y cyngor yn rhybuddio am “perygl sylweddol o ansefydlogrwydd llethr”, mae Cyfeillion y Ddaear Cymru wedi gofyn i Bwyllgor Newid Hinsawdd, yr Amgylchedd a Seilwaith Senedd Cymru ...

Rhaid cael gwared ar domenni peryglus Ffos y Fran.

Ni fyddai cynllun adfer diwygiedig perchennog y safle yn gwneud hyn.

Mae @SeneddHinsawdd wedi cytuno i godi pryderon gyda Llywodraeth Cymru. Rydyn ni'n galw i'r cais gael ei alw i mewn.

Ffos y Fran’s dangerous spoil tips must go.

The mine owner’s revised restoration plan would not remove them.

@SeneddClimate have agreed to raise concerns with the Welsh Government. We're asking for the application to be called in.

This recent study on the levels of harmful chemicals like PCBs in Welsh otters is alarming.

Now we must listen to concerns of communities living near sites like Ty Llwyd in Caerphilly where Monsanto, dumped PCBs and ensure they are safe.

Rhybudd o 'risg sylweddol' wrth gadw tomenni Ffos-y-Fran uwchben Merthyr Pryderon am ddiogelwch tair tomen fawr sydd yn debygol o gael eu gadael uwchben Merthyr Tudful yn dilyn cau safle glo brig dadleuol Ffos-y-Fran.

Rhaid adfer Ffos y Fran a'i wneud yn ddiogel, fel yr addawyd i'r gymuned – mae hynny'n golygu llenwi'r twll. Nid yw'n golygu gadael tomenni peryglus a gwneud cyn lleied â phosibl.

Mae hwn yn fater o ddiogelwch cyhoeddus a chyfiawnder amgylcheddol.

Waste plan at UK's largest opencast mine Ffos-y-Fran 'dangerous' There are safety worries as three large spoil tips are set to be left above Merthyr Tydfil.

Ffos y Fran must be fully restored and made safe, as promised to the community – that means filling the hole. It does not mean leaving dangerous spoil tips in place and doing the bare minimum.

This is a matter of public safety and environmental justice.

One quarter of all Welsh households, and 30% of children, are living in fuel poverty.

The Welsh Government must ensure children’s health and life chances are not impacted by living in cold and unhealthy homes.

Mae chwarter o holl aelwydydd Cymru'n byw mewn tlodi tanwydd.

Rhaid i Lywodraeth Cymru sicrhau nad yw iechyd a chyfleoedd bywyd plant yn cael eu heffeithio gan fyw mewn cartrefi oer ac afiach.

Fel rhan o Ddiwrnod Gweithredu Byd-eang, fe wnaethon ni fynychu digwyddiad Sgyrsiau Cyfiawnder Hinsawdd yn Abertawe.

Roedd yn wych clywed gan bobl ymylol sydd wedi'u gadael allan o wneud penderfyniadau hinsawdd sydd y cyntaf i deimlo ei effaith.

🙏Diolch pawb

As part of the Global Day of Action, we're so glad we went to the Climate Justice Conversations event.

It was inspiring to hear from marginalised people who are left out of climate decision-making but who are the first to feel its impact.

🙏Diolch pawb!

Cadarnhad y bydd pwerdy niwclear newydd yn cael ei adeiladu ym Môn Mae Llywodraeth y DU wedi cadarnhau y bydd pwerdy niwclear o fath newydd yn cael ei adeiladu ar Ynys Môn.

Mae hyn yn newyddion pryderus.

Mae ynni niwclear yn ddrud ac nid oes storfa ddiogel ar gyfer y gwastraff. Ac mae SMRs yn dechnoleg heb ei phrofi.

Mae angen swyddi ond rhaid iddynt ddod o fuddsoddiad mewn ynni adnewyddadwy.

Wylfa nuclear power plant plans go ahead, creating Anglesey jobs Three small modular reactors are confirmed for the site, with the potential for up to eight.

This decision to build a small nuclear power station at Wylfa is deeply concerning.

SMRs are unproven technology. Nuclear is expensive and there is no safe storage for the waste.

Jobs are vitally needed but they must come from investment in renewables.

NRW raises fresh concerns about 'inadequate' restoration plan for controversial mine Martin Shipton Wales’ environmental regulator has lodged fresh objections to a planning application that, if approved, could let a mining company off the hook for remediation costs totalling around £1...

Residents must be relieved to hear Natural Resources Wales are objecting to the light touch remediation plan for Ffos Y Fran.

The company must be made to restore the site fully, as promised, for the safety and benefit of the local community.

At least 45,000 sites in Wales could be contaminated with toxic waste, study says Campaigners say only 82 sites have been fully examined and classified as contaminated, so scale of threat not known

Our investigation identified over 45000 potentially contaminated land sites in Wales but almost none are being inspected.

Councils need to have the funding and resources to identify, assess, and remediate contaminated sites.
