Was hoping that the adaptation would give them a chance to come up with something new (as they had already restructured the story quite a lot in the last season that got released), but apparently not
It's awful, but from interviews & additional notes released through the production, it seems like the author was pushed into a weekly writing schedule that she wasn't comfortable working within, then told "right, you gotta wrap this up within the next few months" so I can see why it went that way
I'm so curious to see if they improved it from the ending of the manga but it sounds like they didn't, lol
There is a freelance guy who comes into work sometimes specifically to write copy for launch material and he always spits out drivel like this
The last line is said with a bit of a laugh so you know the brand ToV is friendly and casual
