And whenever it seems like someone I like or care about (aka students) start to suggest that the level of bullshit detection that I have helped cultivate in them might be cranked too high, I ask one simple question.
Folks share with me their concerns about generative AI (ChatGPT, for ex), and sometimes, students/colleagues suggest that we should be more accepting, more accommodating of the nascent technology.
