Quick check and Koontz did write the screenplay so yes, I'll give him one point for that line. Fine.

He's not an atrocious writer but 'quantity over quality' could be a warning stamped on any of his books.

Some real talent there but that movie stalls out more than when Dean hears there's a dog in the story.

I was thankfully aging out of it by then but still thought Python Patrol was some dire end-times marketing. Like they did the spring-loaded cannons and then 'same vehicles different paint job' was the best they could come up with?

Getting the Golobulus toy and just infuriated that his snake tail part did not in fact bend in any kind of way was the friggin cherry of that wonderful mess.
