This gets at what bothers me about ChatGPT too: there's no variance in tone, no shifts in emphasis or contrasting complex paragraphs with blunt single-sentence statement grafs, no sense of how it all lays on the page. I think a lot of (cis) people simply do not understand that being trans isn’t just a sex thing. The idea that one might transition to be happy (and not purely for sexual gratification) legitimately doesn’t occur to them.
i remember life pre-transition as interacting with the world from inside a prison of frosted glass; every interaction was mediated by a translucent yet impermeable barrier. shattering that glass left me covered in cuts and scratches, but i'm out in the open now, vulnerable but free.
