already a big fan of the demon sisters' dynamic as more of a main cast member and rival figure as opposed to their flat out antagonistic role in season 1 its really fun

also can say im definitely warming up to the new dub the restoration of the rolled R in the "rrrrrule"s from the demon sisters is honestly really nice and im getting more used to the angels' new voices. script's still kinda hit or miss but its also still more hit than miss

also on the topic of early 2010s anime city the animation coming out completely flew over my head i watched the first ep last night and good god i feel like im in middle school getting into anime for the first time again like welcome home nichijou

can't believe im saying this but i wish they said fuck less in panty and stocking cus it feels devoid of the same kind of wit the old series had especially during the big fight. the old series almost felt improv'd in and gave it such a natural feeling vs this feeling much more stilted and restrained

the episode itself was great though in the way of panty and stocking anyway they truly have not missed a beat in 15 years and i hope that future episodes keep up this energy. maybe as it goes on the script will flow a bit better and the new voices will settle into the role for me better as well

genuinely dont think i could be happier with new panty and stocking save for the dub like that script was pretty wonky and they nailed everyone's voices except for the main angels? like the new voices didn't do an awful job or anything but they're both missing the bitchyness and are way too reserved
