me too, i think the sheer amount of misinfo that spread between the april direct and launch combined with nintendo's lack of communication at the time really hurt the console's general perception (not that its genuine issues helped...)

- i never played a mother game but i want to eventually, and i listen to the music occasionally
- same with xenoblade, i adore X's soundtrack
- probably would've given FE a half heart if i could've, i don't see myself playing it but edge of dawn and lost in thoughts all alone are perfect tracks

- i played wild world, lgttc and acnl as a kid but i don't see myself returning to it
- same with warioware, played touched, diy and smooth moves as a kid (might replay touched though... it was cool)
- i didn't really care about DK besides some of the godly DKC music but bananza looks very fun

changed the order since the original was a bit arbitrary

explanations:
- grew up with a couple kirby games and the anime, all games are in my backlog
- not THAT attached to zelda franchisewide, but botw is a masterpiece and among my favourite games of all time, the other games are in my backlog
