Still missing some concepts tho but I haven't designed them yet so ehhhhh (battle maid, queen of hearts, mahou shoujo, "skin deep", bunny coat-tails, emo,...)

Eyes would only appear after you have atleast one of the things they want and before Alice's bossfight, she won't show up anymore if Alice is captured.

The mechanism only works for three times lol to not be that much of a cheat

The trading would be for other bossfight items (except Alice's), plushies, or slugs. You can choose what to deal in but if it's not slugs you won't know which item she took (though Eyes would never take the bendy plushie)

<Eyes in Lone Wolf>
Eyes in lone wolf is another gameplay cheat. She'd show up at boris's safehouse knocking to be let in. She'd offer you a deal which you can accept or decline. The trade would be she'd help you collect items relating to the bossfights (except Alice's) and you give them smth back

Then Allison and Audrey leave to have their conversation elsewhere with no widowed lesbian crying on the floor :)))))
Would explain how Allison still have the gun and Eyes's absence from the finale.

Eyes's last words to Audrey would be that they did meant their wish for her luck.

"...Annie, I'm-"
"Leave.
Take what you came here for and get out of my sight.
Do it before I change my mind."
"...I'm sorry."

Eyes in batdr after Alice dies actually do have a conversation with allison though it's very short. Basically it's just allison silently watching Eyes holds Alice's body into their arms and says that she's sorry but she had no other choices before Eyes cuts in telling her to leave

-though fruitless.

One of the thing I'm contemplating about it Eyes's offer to escape the cycle with Alice. The conversation might be about it or Alice tell them she just need to be beautiful first to consider it, easing Eyes to accept defeat in helping Audrey out

-which just trigger different dialouges because again even if you're on good ground with them, Eyes's loyalty is with Alice only. So yeah basically they would try to say something to Alice when she caught Audrey like "are you sure it has to be this way, there are other means?"-

They'd tell Audrey not to look back to avoid the sight of their corpse, assist her out, give her their all-seeing-eye ability for better navigation and the major difference is that they reassure her she would make it out, wishing her luck

Just like in batim, you can choose to befriend them or not-

That switch ultimate would kill that body and trigger their respawn. They would accompany Audrey for a bit before slitting to find Alice.

Eyes is much friendlier to Audrey than to Henry lol, she'd try to start a normal conversation to ease Audrey first, asking her name and how's she in the cycle

Eyes in batdr is friendlier than batim imo though they're still shady. Audrey would find them tied on a tablet in a very bad shape in the pit just when she needed help. They would offer to assist her for a request in turn that she flip a switch next to the table they're tied on.

I haven't decide clear what would happen in chapter 5 yet but Eyes in chapter 5 would appear to be crying always in the brief period of time that you see them. All they do is sit in a corner with their knees nuzzled into their chest, they barely talk.

If you did befriended them, they'd say sorry.

Eyes doesn't show up much in chapter 4 except when Alice dies and she tries to kill allison lol.

Eyes would be bring back to the cell with henry in the beginning of chapter 5 too. They wouldn't say much other than to leave them alone in the cell when the ink demon was coming.

Canonically you can't change the ending and but as you can pick between the demon and angel paths, you can decide to befriend Eyes or not. This would just trigger different dialouges but I do have an au where it create larger impact and can change Boris's fate too.

One of the things I need to answer is if she's the prime errand runner for Alice then why would the player need to do the fetch quests anyways?

Then I got it. The portrait painting sessions :))))))) Or pretty much any other tasks she can't let you in but let them in ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

But obviously she must be out of commission for you to actually play the game and be manipulated by Alice later lol. So eventually Eyes would return to Alice's side for one reason or another and their (Alice and Eyes) watch over you turn to be more passive.

Eyes show up to guide you back to Alice and would accompany you for a bit for the quests. Eyes's whole existence is kinda a cheat because they'll tell you tips and exactly where to find the thing you need. They exist instead of Alice's instruction because they are her looming eye

Lmao I've thinking about Eyes's presence in the games so here's a yap sess (maybe I should use tumblr for the no restriction character count but ehh oh well)
