If someone tells you there's nothing we can do about gun violence beyond thoughts and prayers, remind them:

—Gun laws in other countries have prevented mass shootings
—More guns don't make us safer
—A majority of Americans want gun reform

We don't have to live like this.

I am shocked, SHOCKED, that the countless thoughts and prayers are not working while countries such as Australia and Switzerland with strict gun laws don't suffer from the epidemic of mass shootings. It's a real poser.
