By now, everyone knows that Michael Jackson did the chorus for Rockwell’s “Somebody’s Watching Me”, but hardly anyone praises Alvin And The Chipmunks’ backing work on Jackson’s slightly troubling “PYT”.

Recorded two episodes of “Vinyl Judgement” with my son Moss last night. We listened to Joy Division’s “Unknown Pleasures”, and “The Best Of Petula Clark” back to back.

There should have been a gear crunch, but in fact we both enjoyed the two albums rather a lot!

Good people do exist and practice their magic. This is a longer story featuring a thousand individual acts of kindness, but recently I had every single person in the Walmart automotive department trying to help me when my car conked out. Not for personal gain, just because they cared. It was amazing

Even though we’re at an unbelievable 145% of our target, my sisters and I have extended the end date til the 15th, his birthday.

It seems there are two types of people in the world: people who say “WNBC” a specific way because they saw it in “Private Parts”, and people who say “WNBC” a specific way because that’s how they used to say it on WNBC.

I really don’t listen to podcasts.

The saying of which is the 2025 equivalent to 1980’s “I really don’t like the Rubix Cube” I suppose.

Not a day goes by where I don’t offer a personalised album recommendation to someone who didn’t even ask for it. Sometimes it’s because the person has a specific personality trait that reminds me of something, or it might be entirely situational.

Bet I’m not alone in doing this.

Anyone else stuck for an unreasonable amount of time in the departure lounge of Glasgow Airport? My flight is in THREE HOURS and all I’ve got to do is eat impossible whoppers and cry.

Come find me and cheer me up for gawd’s sake.

I don’t look good in pictures, I really don’t. My face looks like it was on fire and someone put it out with a rusty shovel.

Yet still, any time someone takes my picture and it’s half decent, I think “is that the one that will be on display at my funeral…? 😳

My Dad’s funeral was today, but we kept it upbeat and happy, a celebration. Friends and family and love everywhere.
