When I say I’m bad at pronouns, I don’t mean it in a transphobic way, I mean if there’s a he and a she in a sentence, I will get them confused. I regularly misgender cis people.

Jackie Baillie, Mel Ward, Claire Baker, Joani Reid and Anas Sarwar all publicly backed Sandie Peggie in her employment tribunal case.

Yesterday that tribunal ruled that Peggie unlawfully harassed Beth Upton.

Scottish Labour must now apologise to Dr Upton for this catastrophic failure of judgement.

Quite a lot of, simply, lying and unjustified valorisation of a nasty person on the front of papers today. Staggering to watch pretty much every news outlet in the country report that Sandy Peggie has won her tribunal case despite her losing on almost every count, and despite the ruling stating that the Supreme Court FWS judgement does *not* require trans women to be excluded from women's spaces.

Tribunal says Sandie Peggie was harassed by NHS Fife but dismisses all other claims The nurse was suspended by NHS Fife after complaining about having to share a changing room with a transgender doctor.

Sandie Peggie's claims against Upton dismissed & most of her claims against NHS Fife are dismissed. Questions remain for NHS Fife over the process they pursued, which led to Peggie's harassment claim being partially upheld.

The tribunal ruled Upton's use of female changing facilities not unlawful.
