Andrea Gibson, Colorado’s poet laureate and a national voice on LGBTQ issues, has died “Come See Me in the Good Light,” a documentary film made by the poet and their wife dealing with Gibson’s cancer diagnosis in 2021, won festival favorite at Sundance this year. Gibson was 49.

They will be so missed but not forgotten 💜

Trying to manage the cycle of chronic pain, depression, anxiety, and the resulting avoidance of everything is really difficult with everything going on right now.
