I LOATHE hearing people talking about "unskilled" labor, especially in industries where it's a well-used service. Laborers typically ruin their bodies over the years for "unskilled" labor, and fast food stops feed 1000s a day. These aren't unskilled. The system does this to maintain the divide.

Yes exactly! We are next, we have proud boys and polliviere (Canadian trump) and too much American media, we have Christian nationalists and racist, working-as-designed-but-sure-looks-broken law enforcement and councils that want to give them more money to cause more harm.
So glad that Canada has a hard limit on individual donations to parties and does not allow corporations to donate. They DO however allow corporations to the table and give them waaaay more power than they deserve, especially in the oil and gas sector

Sadly it sure looks that way in America. In Canada our teachers are still strapped for resources but we’re allowed to teach about real history. Though TBH Black history and Indigenous history was whitewashed when I went thru (many years ago). Hoping it’s more truthful now.
