🤣 the former! I have a friend who used to work at the MIT caterpillar lab (as a science educator). We go very slowly and look at cool bugs. It’s awesome. She also does them formally with local groups like the Sierra Club and Master Naturalists.

A note to say: I am still around. I just spend a *lot* less time on social media these days.
Some of that is the World Today. Some of it is that my graduation gift to myself was a gaming system and last Xmas I got Zelda: BotW. Some of it is going for caterpillar walks with a local friend.

Dad was USArmy doing a checkpoint at DuPont Circle in 1968. The only trouble he told us about was a driver who pulled out his gun for “id”. While dad was trying to figure out what to do, his passenger said “give the kid a break” and flashed a badge. They were DC cops.
