Gosh, what on earth could be causing that?

But BC and Canada are betting big on the horse & wagon!

He just wants everyone to commit crimes with him so they have no moral authority.

I hope your son can find a place to shine. We homeschool, which has its own challenges.
I just started reading The Curve of Time, about a mother and four kids that bought a boat and explored the coast of BC in the 1920s.. definitely makes one want to chuck it all.

Personally I think anger is a great motivator. It's empowering and pushes people to action.
Sure, it's a negative emotion, but it's a step above despair/ hopelessness. Imo, it's not reasonable to expect people to go from despair all the way to hope, but anger can bridge the gap.

I believe that trump sees this as yet another way to weaken NATO. This is his modus operandi - get people criming with you, and then you control them.

I've got a simple solution: stop attacking Iran.

So, now that we see how critical the Straight of Hormuz is, what will the world be like if the USA and Israel take control of it?

Straight of Hormuz, with Buddha imposed, text: The realization that the lack of oil isn't causing your suffering, but the desire for oil itself, on your path to enlightenment.

Possible solution to the Strait of Hormuz?

β€˜I’m the Same Me’: Canada’s Mark Carney Defends His Climate Record Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney said he’s focused on climate policies likely to have the greatest impact at a time of strained resources and multiple

Thank you. Canada and the world have been a bit hypnotised by Carney because he's not a madman like Trump, but he is ALL IN on oil and gas.
You can see here his approach to climate change is CCS and unfettered oil development..

Come on Bluesky, this deserves a proper roasting. Two climate villains posing as climate superheroes, getting chummy about all the new fossil fuels they're unlocking - RIGHT IN THE MIDST of a global crisis caused by over-reliance on the product they're celebrating

Further erosion of democracy in Canada.
If this is how we defend ourselves, imagine if we didn't like us?

..as Iran is doing
- to drive oil prices up and create an excuse to remove sanctions on Russian oil
- ethnic cleansing like Palestine
- further destabilising the USA at home and abroad
- plus a side benefit of distracting from the trump-Epstein files

Buried under that are the real reasons, and Carney is no fool and knows them. They are (in part):
- to get the oil from brown people who the ethno-supremacists do not think really own/deserve it
- to destroy Iran as an opponent of Israel and maybe take it over
- to control the Straight of Hormuz..

well, that tracks. So we have to fight this, and also ditch all US-based services, and maybe the cell phone?

That cabin in the mountains keeps calling.

where is that?

Yup, so when Canada and British Columbia buckle down on the oil economy they are locking in the path to fascism even if they don't want it.

Are we tired of this madness yet?

Mother Theresa, there was a real human.

In other words, to become the opposite of what they are becoming.

Anyone who says we should roll back rights in the interest of fighting growing fascism is either dumb or disingenuous.

It is not great, nor good. The only way for Canada to fight the US-trump-regime is to strengthen and affirm rights, to divorce ourselves from the toxic oil industry which has poisoned our democracy, and to stand firm for the rule of law in the world and at home.

The thin edge of the wedge in Canada is not as thin as it used to be..
Fascism has set its sights on us all, and in Canada today that is manifesting as small erosions of rights "for the greater good."

Yes, exactly. The NATO treaty is completely US-centric.

And just saw a peregrine falcon! Alas, too fast for pictures. It headed straight into a 50kmh wind, then ducked and dived along the edge of the forest, and closed the spectacle by shooting straight up into the sky to check out what 3 eagles were up to, dispersing them

Canada, "regrets" it's support of the expanding genocide, but, there's money to be made, and dictator-overlords to appease.
