Agree, this and Blue Eye Samurai are the very cream of animation I have recently watched. The worldbuildinf in Scavenger's Reign is exquisite and so innovative.

I wish I were surprised. The only consistent thing about this franchise has been middling to flat execution. And I used to be a voracious reader of the comics as a teen, in fact I think it was the only one I read as much as X-Men! Such a pity.
