What is the Wisconsin Supreme Court and what does it do?
The Wisconsin Supreme Court is the state's highest court. It's comprised of seven justices who serve 10-year terms (the longest term of any elected office in Wisconsin).
The court makes decisions that have a profound impact on our civil rights and liberties for generations.
Wisconsin will elect a new Supreme Court justice on April 7, 2026. Laws protecting our freedom are only as strong as the judges who uphold them.

Wisconsin voters: The new postmark rule does not change your ballot deadline. Absentee voting remains the same as always in Wisconsin. Only voter registration by mail is impacted.
In Wisconsin, ballots have always been required to be received by 8pm on Election Day.
The recent changes to the way USPS defines a postmark will only impact voter registration by mail.

These devices collect everyoneβs data, not just data on vehicles associated with a crime. The accusations made against Milwaukee Police Officer Josue Ayala exemplify just how easily Flock cameras can be turned against the very people the technology purports to protect.
