Odds are that these prosecutors are conservative if not Maga. And that their efforts were fully in line with Trump's stated "tough on crime" rhetoric. Hilarious.

We laugh but it works. The relentless assault carries weight. It's a consistent chipping away at facts, commonsense, fairness and it creates a drag where you have to spend time and energy gaining trust from sectors where you will need it.

I live in S. Brooklyn, and Sliwa signs are everywhere. I'm grateful b/c that helps Mamdani. Early voting yesterday was busy. I hope my folks in the rest of the city are taking this seriously. Cuomo has no chance, and Sliwa's rise helps Mamdani, but there is no question he has a base.
