My god. I looked at my linked in feed for the first time basically ever. It’s completely batshit. People walking around with buckets on their heads talking about goals. It’s like listening in on a Roomba convention.

Truly a lovely send-off to @eurogamer.bsky.social ❀️ and for what it's worth, even if I didn't manage to get to write for Eurogamer, I really appreciate you responding to my pitches, Chris

Honestly, one of the best reads of 2026. Still can't believe how good this is (and RIP Hoffman)

At last! It's been a while since I loved an online game so much, and you probably can already tell what game I picked as my GOTY

They deliberately left the best Horses game out - sorry, banned - because Steam knew it would leave other horse-related games no chance

The best videogame of 2015 is 'Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain' Entertainment Geekly: In praise of the end of an era.

the 'Citizen Kane of games' discourse reminded me of one of my fav piece in gaming by Darren Franich. Here it is in case you wanna take a look: ew.com/article/2015...

Unwinnable subscribers saw an excerpt of this last month, but here's the much, much longer convo I had with Autumn back in December about cultural criticism, my process, and a long, ongoing battle with alienation from my own taste and craft. A little rambly, apologies

I just started playing Mewgenics last night and yeah, it's good (you could say it's the frickin' cat's meow)

Mewgenics is the cat's meow (and I only played it for an hour).

It's been ages since I played any of Edmund's games and didn't realize how I miss this flash-era vibe

Here's a regular white guy (literally "Chad") not a protester. because, "It seemed pointless, or just a way for people to expiate their sense of guilt." Chad witnessed something shattering. And, that all changed in a moment.

Excellent article!

"If you watch an episode of Cheers, you might hear references to foreign filmmakers, to classical musicians, to Russian novelists. The level of assumed knowledge back then was far greater; now, TV is rarely adventurous in its allusions."

my mentor was a historian on war & revolution and when asked to share the single most important short piece of text he'd encountered in his life, he shared this.

it's well worth the read. i carry it with me

I often think about Jonathan Cooper's posts about TLOU2, that the studio ran out of seasoned game animators because its reputation was so bad and thus had to hire film folks who had to be taught how to put games together.

Gourmet Magazine Gourmet is a worker-owned publication about food and the people who make and consume it.

CondΓ© Nast forgot to renew the trademark for Gourmet and so a group of journalists grabbed it and are relaunching the food magazine as a worker-owned co-op. Love it. [gourmetmagazine.net]
