Right now I’m reading “Tears We Cannot Stop: A Sermon to White America” by Michael Eric Dyson. The first songs mentioned were NWA “Fuck Tha Police” & KRS-One “Sound of Da Police”. Went perfect with this police interaction in the second chapter.

I deleted my save and have to start all over FROM SCRATCH! I’ll get back online eventually. I just need to take care of my mental health after this loss.

This all started with my Fifth Grade teacher Mr. Davis. Every book we read in class was accompanied by snacks/meals that were mentioned in the book.

I love to make my book reading interactive. If they mention a song, I’m putting it on in the background as I continue to read the passage/chapter. If they mention a snack/meal, I’m going to make it and eat it while I’m reading, especially if it’s a quick fix.
