Here are the metrics I've used. As the name of each group states, each metric was assigned a different weight in order to create this dynamic ranking. Note that even metrics inside the same group will still have different weights. Ex: Goals/90 has a higher weight than Crosses/90

Shaun Carlos, the third player of Lions FC in the top 5, is a dynamic final-third presence with elite finishing and crossing output. His dribbling success and attacking instincts are key assets, although his involvement in deeper build-up is minimal.

17 out of the 29 big chances conceded from Chelsea were away from home, indicating more difficulties when not playing at Stamford Bridge.

The expected goals also state for that. Being bellow average at home and above average away.

On the defensive end, Chelsea has been around the middle of the chart. They conceded 29 big chances, 14,5xG and 13 goals.
In case they were able to have a better conversion rate offensively, the Blues sure would be closer to secure a Champions League spot for next season.

Chelsea has actually been pretty good at generating big scoring opportunities, both at Stamford Bridge and away, as we can see from their xG total above average.

Even though, the number of goals scored from those chances are too low. The Blues are missing too many opportunities.

Chelsea is in 5th place at creating big scoring chances so far this season.
With 33 big chances created, 18,4xG and 11 goals scored, they only achieved 33% on conversion rate.
This poor conversion rate on clear scoring opportunities is really holding the blues back.

Playing at St James' Park, in half of the games they haven't conceded any big chances to the opposition. Conceded only 4 goals from big chances.

Restricting their opposition to an average of 0,48xG/match and 0,64 when playing away attest to their defensive consistency.

Being the 6th best defense when it comes to preventing the creation of big chances (23 big chances, 10,3xG, 11 goals conceded - 48% conversion) combined with a good attack has lead Newcastle to the 3rd position on the table so far

Newcastle is another case of an offense that has been playing great away from home while also being above average and outperforming xG at their own field.

They created big chances on 12/16 matches away from home and are averaging 1 goal/match away and 0,9 goal/match at home

At the 4th place regarding big chance creation is Newcastle United.
With 38 big chances created, 20,5xG and 21 goals scored, they achieved 55% on conversion rate.
The magpies are making an excellent season in the PL and we're going to explore deeper why.

Tottenham conceded big chances in 23 out of 32 matches. Playing at home it seems like they go even harder on "all or nothing". Creating a lot offensively and conceding a lot defensively.

It doesn't seem to be working for them, siting at 15th place at the moment.

Being the 3rd defense that most concede big chances to the opposition, it becomes clear that Postecoglou has to find a better balance to the Spurs. 46 big chances, 23,2xG, 21 goals conceded and 46% of conversion rate.
Even with the opponents underperforming their xG this looks bad.

Both at home and away, Spurs have shown a great offensive output. They're able to consistently generate big chances, no matter where they play.
They've achieved higher xG/match than City and Liverpool at home, which is impressive.

It just seems to be at a really high expense.

Tottenham Hotspur is the third team when it comes to generating big chances. With 39 shots, they generated 21,1xG and scored 22 goals, achieving 56% of conversion.
Football isn't all attack, and that's why Postecoglou is at risk of being sacked. Spurs also concede a lot of big chances.

As the Etihad has been the strength for the attack, it also seem to be the weakness for the defense.
Conceding 20 big chances, 9,4xG and 10 goals at home is not what we are accustomed to see from Pep's teams.

21/32 games conceding big chances is way too much.
