a printed object showing the layer lines. On the bottom how to replicate those lines in PDMS to make a microfluidic device the microfluidic channels

Do you know those annoying layer lines you get with FDM 3D printers? Those layers you try to avoid or hide?
What if I tell you we can use them to make 15-micrometer-tall microfluidic channels?

I put up the code on github.com/sfmlab/mole2d for anyone wanting to test it. It's full f bugs, but works if you just need to draw a molecule here and there. :) And I'm working on making it much better (and part of a bigger suite)

BIG UPDATES!
OCTRON now supports the new SAM3 models (alongside SAM2)!
We’ve also added a global switch for Detection vs. Segmentation: Use the same annotations to train either lightweight detection or full segmentation models. Plus, we’ve added support for the new YOLO26 models. ⤵️

We have integrated the Allen Institute's BioFile Finder app with IDR. You can quickly Group and Filter all images in a study. Data is served by the IDR search engine and supports up to a million images at a time. BioFile Finder links are on each study page e.g. idr.openmicroscopy.org/study/idr0056/

Indeed, indeed.
I'm sure there are plenty of papers around that were wrongly using cameras to monitor chemical reactions. Especially with the rise of the SDL, this is an extremely important topic....
Just because you see a color, it doesn't mean that your camera can quantify it....
