23.02.2025 15:58 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Silhouette drawing in black ink, about business card size, of a rooster, with a touch of red gouache for the wattle and comb. The rooster faces right and is slightly bowed as it appears to be scratching in the grass. The piece is photographed with a penny and the traditional Chinese brush used to draw it. The penny could obscure most of the rooster's head and neck.

Shit inspired me. Glad I saw it.

Claude Cahun with hearts on their face and I AM IN TRAINING DON'T KISS ME shirt
There is always something you can do to gum up the works of fascism.
A story. Claude Cahun. The queer nonbinary French-Jewish photographer.
Nazis conquered France, were training soldiers on Jersey, where Cahun lived w/their partner, Marcel Moore.
They did disinfo & morale smashing via Surrealism.
