When I went to Tehran in 2018 for a game conference I hung out with game nerds, music weirdos, and queer folks with tattoos and colored hair, just like I do here. We got vegetarian food and watched goofy uncles play basketball in the park. I sure hope they can live to see a better day.

Marathon has me feeling a bit torn. I'm so drawn in by its world design, visual flourishes, the ways the narrative is picking up threads from previous games, but the competitive side is a bit too difficult and stressful for me... I really hope that a PvE mode comes out eventually.

One of the most atmospheric games I’ve played recently is Metal Garden, a short FPS with a very unique feel.
The gigantic structures make me think of Ico, with a more industrial twist.
And it’s unapologetically gray.

Really enjoyed playing through the demo for Vholume, new game by one of the Straftat/Babbdi devs and featuring music by 1000 Eyes (Signalis composer).

In love with the architecture, the hidden little snapshots of lives lived in an impossible space.
