Twisted Metal Season 2—Is fine, I guess. Rewatched Season 1 and it was still enjoyable, so not sure what went wrong.They didn’t have the budget for Neve Campbell—but the money didn’t go to scriptwriters. Mackie/Beatriz work hard. The addition of Saylor Bell Burda’s Mayhem was dumb at every turn.
The Sandman Season 2—Is broody. I mean, of course it is, but it’s not as fun as the first season. Every plot point feels forced into place, rather than a cohesive story being told. Dream also seems wholly reactionary, rather than the main character in his own show. Damn shame.

I suspect my dog sees herself more as an early warning system and is confused/frustrated that we aren't immediately choosing the nuclear option.
I don't think Mariner would try to blame it on another parent. She would think her actions were justified until it came out that her child used the weapons to bully the teachers.

OMG, please STOP washing your skulls. They're porous!! Anyone washing them will find they quickly take in the soap and leave a soapy taste that is hard to get out. You have to treat these like you would cast iron. You scrub them well, oil them lightly, and wipe clean ahead of your next use.
Return to Oz—Not bad. Not as dark as I remember—I was 12—but still dark. More in line with the books, but I still wanted them to break out into a song. Maybe a remix Tick Tock Soldier by Sir Mix-A-Lot? (Disney+)

The Intern—Is chill. I can’t decide if it’s a mediocre movie with excellent actors, or if there was really something there. Robert De Niro just owns with presence and character. Anne Hathaway and crew do an excellent job reacting to De Niro’s reactions.
