Not to finance post, but like, spy has tripled since the covid-crash, and most major funds are now sitting on tons of cash. They already made their money.

This shit is gonna pop so hard and the Warren Buffet's of the world are gonna eat everyone's lunch (ie retirement funds) once again.

Haven't posted today because I'm still mourning our economy. We sacrificed so much for her. I cant believe retail traders made our GDP plummet and brought the major indices down almost 3%. A horrible loss for humanity.

The cover of my book! Watching the Ducks at Line Creek Park
For Reggie
Ripples shimmer across the lake in perfect circumferences.
Bent reflections of pine trees echo like mockingbirds.
A duck plunges under the water, rotates
along its axis–its squash-orange feet a cantilever–
its bill stippling the surface. There is symmetry
in the call of a cardinal–cheer cheer cheer
purty purty purty–the curly thorns of a briar,
the response of a mother breaking
through the kingdom of childhood–
Stop scaring the ducks.

The sun stares back across from where it rose
stretching shadows towards its origin
plunging below the treeline echoing
in the reflection of the moon on the lake
through the negatives of pine needles.
I hope death comes like this:
An asymptote, ever-approaching,
a mother laying you down in the next room–
the soft hum of family
indistinguishable from a dream.

Woah I have a book

Photograph of Reese McCandless doing the first ever untethered spacewalk by an astronaut he's in a white space suit with a big white sort of backpack thing behind him which is presumably heaviest navigating around past him we see a white background which is the cloud covered atmosphere of the Earth

If you're engaging in today's #EconomicBlackout, please consider using a few of those bucks to help an ANMLY team member afford housing.

Digital painting of a dark night night sky, lightly veiled with gossamer clouds. The stars are shining brightly through, unaffected by the clouds.

We report: tonight, the sky looks like us a few billion years ago, or so we like to think. The very bare bones of us, at least. The clouds that we only see after stewing in darkness for a long time remind us of distant galaxies. It is rather cold in outer space.

Housing is a human right. Please help today -- one of ANMLY's team members is unhoused and facing harder times as their shelter is closing in March. RTs appreciated, too.

One of our ANMLY comrades told me they can't continue reading because they lost their housing. If the work at ANMLY has ever meant anything to you, or if the work that I have ever done in any capacity has ever meant anything to you, please consider helping them stay safe.

Ehlers danlos is silly because at first you're just like 'ooh stretchy' but eventually you're like 'ooh my hip popped out of place and hit a nerve and my foot has been numb for a week'

Ahhh! Thank you for always being so supportive! Also your publications published 3 or 4 of these works, and I couldn't have asked for any place better for those poems
