I’ve mentioned this before but I’m normally not into stories about kids. Don’t psychoanalyze it. But even I think children should be cared for andand brought up safely. It doesn’t surprise me that the mangaka of WHA is so progressive. You can feel her love in every page, and resonates even with me.

It’s refreshing to see adults in Witch Hat actually talk about protecting the children—and treating them with care. Sure there are shitty ones, like Richeh’s first master, but even he was framed as a bad person.
