Jerry sprawled himself across the couch, finally enjoying some time to himself after the most hectic week he’d had in a long time. It was nice to finally take some time to do nothing in his empty apartment—leaving his phone on the nearby table and just munching on snacks, savoring each bite as he mindlessly fished for the next nicest chip in the big round bowl he had filled up. This was nice—meditative, almost. In a passing thought, he wondered if this was what it felt like for a pet to be left home alone, just existing in a comfortable space. - Story written by @roscotf.bsky.social

Then it hit him—or rather, brushed against his fingers. The sensation of some foreign, round objects mixed among the chips made his arm lurch backwards, his other fist gripping the chips in hand with a brutal force. The big bowl he’d been eating from fell off the couch to the floor, but he couldn’t tell in the moment if it had been knocked by his motion, or if it was simply moving itself to a more correct position. Either way, the bowl now held a strange new energy, marked with a ring of bones around its circumference as it tumbled from the couch and out of Jerry’s vision. - Story written by @roscotf.bsky.social

Jerry shifted uncomfortably in his shirt, which was tightening around the collar and fizzling out of reality everywhere else, flaking away like dust in the wind. The exposed skin was now tickled by sprouts of dark brown and patchy white fur. His nose had begun to tingle, and looking down, he could see why: it was discolored, and bulging into his field of vision. His ears, too, felt a tingling pull—and he could only imagine a similar, putty-like stretching was happening to them. As he adjusted his shifting center of weight on the cushion, his mind didn’t trigger any panic or fear. Instead, he remained focused on the bowl, now flattened against the floor. The entire contents had transformed into a pile of brown, dry kibble. Yet the sight didn’t deter Jerry’s attention. In fact, the aroma wafted heavily into his darkening, puffing nose, distracting him from noticing how his arms and legs were being overtaken by fur and his fingertips tipped with thickening claws. - Story written by @roscotf.bsky.social

The excitement of digging in spun around his restructuring mind, and his twitching tail certainly showed that. It tugged and whipped against his constrictive pants, struggling against the fabric and bunching up, tickling his rear with more and more fur as each growth spurt hit it. Jerry began to place his front legs at the edge of the couch, moving toward the floor-bound bowl with a curious eagerness. His mouth stayed slightly open, his dopey smile stretching across his face to match the long muzzle now forming around it. Saliva pooled in his mouth with every canine sniff, and his solidified collar—now marked “Jerry”— jingled as he placed his front paws on either side of the dish. At this height, he couldn’t see his phone anymore. It had started pinching inward, reshaping itself safely out of reach—unless his roomate-ner… roomawner… his… owner? got it for him. [A furry transformation comic with eight panels] A guy yawns and sits sleepily at a table with a box of cereal, a spoon, and an empty bowl. There is a maze on the back of the box. The front of the cereal box reads "DoggO" and features a dog mascot. The guy says "hm" and reads a handwritten note in front of the bowl: "New brand I found for you. Eat up before our walk! ^v^" He pours the cereal and some milk into the bowl and eats a spoonful of it. The pieces are shaped like bones and rings. He says "mm!" and his hair starts growing fluffy and grey, his nose becomes a little snoutlike, and fur starts to appear on his body. He licks his lips when his face becomes a furry grey canine muzzle. His ears grow larger and a mane begins to form on the back of his neck. The rest of his body is now almost completely grey with fur. He stands up, pushing his chair back and sleepily looking down into the cereal as a small fluffy tail pops out of his pants and a mane of thick dark grey fur makes its way down his spine. His face and ears are almost entirely canine. As the rest of his body takes on the shape of a maned wolf, he plants his paws on the table, plunges his face into the bowl, and frantically laps up more cereal, knocking over the box and the chair. Licking his lips again, he climbs up onto the table (which is now covered in milk and cereal) with his tall, goofy, maned-wolf body, discarding his pants and excitedly wagging his tail. He eyes up the pile of cereal that remains in the box. He sticks his whole muzzle into the box, wearing it on his head and eating as much cereal as he can. The author of the note (and, presumably, the provider of the cereal) arrives home and sees him sitting on his rump on the table amid the mess: "Are you ready for our w— HEY, GET OFF THE TABLE"
