Journalist: I thought you said no new wars?

Trump: Misinformation! I said “No. New wars.”

These are all new wars. Just the best new wars.

Well…two people I wouldn’t trust as far as I could throw them but if they’re just encouraging people to eat less processed garbage I’ll all for it - if they’re on the make measles great again train that will be much less good…

Amazing levels of idiocy in the world today…can’t wait to have expended massive amounts of public and personal resources battling cancer only to get killed by measles/ignorance. 😅

For folks like me, chemo often wipes out childhood vaccines and redoing those that are live vaccines is too risky.

It’s no excuse.

You can admit your error, apologize for doing it and beg for forgiveness though.

That’s a good first step when you f up.

Not likely to happen though.

Unfortunately millions of Americans drank the same mind-numbing koolaid.

I wrote this months ago but it gets more relevant every day…can the media please ask these people?

I get wearing a mask when you’re taking down a cartel kingpin and fear repercussions but that’s not what these clowns are doing. What can it be other than feeling ashamed of their actions?

The results of an objective third party fact-check of Trump’s Davos speech are out.

“We did a fact-check and can now confirm there weren’t any.”

I like numbers - they’re less full of 💩.

Except when people like the orange fella just makes them up.

But real numbers are cool. Less prone to the perils of prose.

I think I was too slow! I’m stumbling around my house trying to understand what I saw but mostly just drooling on myself and mumbling “oh no, oh no, can’t be, wake up, someone wake me up!”

Moderator: Mr President, I have a question about X…

Trump: Here’s an long unrelated rambling story about something nobody here wants to hear about.

Just sitting up there telling unrelated, rambling stories nobody wants to hear.

That’s how I feel - no words anymore - it’s beyond that - and I just wonder when waaaaay more Americans are going to wake up and say “it’s not even funny anymore” . He’s blatantly putting his personal needs and wants at the heart of global politics and decision making. It’s not for America.

It’s just unreal that we’re here, but here we are. I’m just concerned people would actually elect him again if they could.

A good sentiment. 👍

FYI despair always takes an “e” in this case I’m pretty sure.

So…since when did the news only become bad news?

I feel like when I was younger there was the odd good news story mixed in with all the miserable stuff.

Apologies younger generations!

😅

We don’t need trillionaires but we may soon have them. That’s f’ed up.

The only positive thing here is that the comments in this thread almost all recognize that irreparable damage has been done. Good, savvy voters. Sadly too many Americans don’t see that - thus we find ourselves here.

Unfortunately, I think he’s done massive long-term damage. Fairly or not, he has shown that a large swath of Americans are ok with screwing their allies, that’s hard to recover from even if/when he’s gone.
