I still feel very strongly about what SoundCloud did. Unfortunately, because the new player I found is a pain to load into my site, SC audio needs to remain for now. Deleting my account will strip my entire site of voiceover content. Stay tuned, I will get changes made ASAP
Sigh. I spent a good chunk of my weekend researching audio players. I’m not on Wix or Squarespace so it’s not as simple as plugging something in. But, I can still code a bit from my web design days so I need something that works with my Page Builder, AND allows users to download. Mixcloud is out.
A bit of an update to the SoundCloud TOS change and AI. (via futurism.com). I look at these statements with a side-eye… and BTW, the terms were changed in February 2024 and are just now coming to light…
Seriously SoundCloud? Well, I guess this makes the decision to pull my content and leave that much easier. Their new TOS:
